Warren and Bev were great friends to Kent and me. (We knew Warren from "the early days" at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale, where we all sang in the choir.) We shared a fun trip to Reno, Nevada, shortly after Warren and Bev started dating and then later we enjoyed visits to their home in Arizona. We always had fun with them, whatever we did or wherever we went. They were "the salt of the earth" kind of people that you never forget. We had not seen them in recent years, which was our loss, but our memories of them will last forever.

I met Warren and Bev through my hair stylist who was a dear friend of mine and was also Bev´s hairstylist. Through conversation Warren and Bev wanted a house cleaner , So that is how I met Warren and Bev, I ended up becoming their house cleaner for a few years , we had many laughs stories and hugs together , they will be missed deeply , so to the family I send my deepest sympathy...

My name is Jean Lund-Drew. I live in California, but was born in Minnesota like most of our relatives. My Grandma Chlo was the sister of George Reed, Warren's dad. We lived in the Chicago area, but every summer on our 3-week vacations all over the country, we stopped in Minnesota to see our relatives, including Uncle George & Peg, and Warren & Ken. I remember one 4th of July parade where Warren & Ken elevated my sister and I on their shoulders so we could see the parade.
When Warren married Bev, I would visit them in Arizona where my parents, Roger (Warren's cousin) & my Mom Ruth had a home close to Warren & Bev's.
On holidays, birthdays, etc. Warren & Bev would call & we would have a fun discussion about what was going on in our lives. We never lost touch despite the distances between us. Their wonderful, upbeat attitudes made every conversation fun!! They visited us in California once and I had intended to visit them this summer, but that, unfortunately didn't happen. Bev called me a few days before Warren passed away, and I was able to tell him how much he meant to me. I spoke with Bev several times after, and was so sorry to hear the news about her, too. They were a great pair and had such a wonderful life together.
Although I don't know all of their children, I want them to know how much Warren & Bev meant to our family and to me over the years. I really enjoyed reading the obituary, filled with so many highlights of their lives and their devotion to each other and their families and to their church.
.
I wanted to come to the Celebration of Life, but am unable to because of my husband's operation. I will send a donation to The University of Minnesota Cancer Center in their names. Jean Lund-Drew

Here's a picture of Warren, Beverly and Randy, October 1995 at Nancy and my wedding. I'm Skip Bradford, I've known Warren practically all my life. I grew up with his son Randy..we are the same age. Warren has done many things for me. He taught me how to water ski. He wouldn't let me get up on two, he gave me three chances and on the third try he said.."No more tries" but I got up on one, on that third try. Only 10 or 11 years old.
I was trying to get into the helicopter pilot program and needed a letter of recommendation...I'm betting that Warren's letter was what got me in. I owe my career to him. I will miss both Warren and Bev...they are a couple of greats.

I was lucky enough to get to know Bev at Sterling Pointe, I would see her every month when I did her nails, which she loved and sharing her stories of her family and her next project she was making for them ! I will definitely miss her !
