JONESBORO - John "Warren" Arends, 76, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at his home. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Mo., to the late Joseph Arends and Frances Arends Brannon.
Warren was a 1965 graduate of Malden High School. He retired after over 40 years in the banking industry. Warren was a member of the First United Methodist Church and loved using his singing talent in the church choir.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Arends, and brother, Nick Arends.
Survivors include his son, Rowe (Becki) Arends and two grandsons, Kaleb and Noah Arends, all of Jackson, Mo.; three stepchildren, Mark (Kim) Shannon of Hensley, Lisa (Perry) Young of Trumann and Leslie McCarty of Sherwood; and six stepgrandchildren.
All services will be private.
