Warren Flagg Obituary
Warren was born in Detroit on December 8, 1943, and was the oldest of six children. He married Katie Love on November 28, 1964 and worked hard everyday thereafter to support the family they made. After Katie passed away in 2005 he found a second chance at love and a new lease on life with his wife of 11 years, Julia Hoglen.
He never let his children or grandchildren forget how proud they made him. He was charismatic and loved to tell a story. It did not matter whether his audience was a bar full of strangers or the children that called him "Bumpa". He enjoyed a hearty glass of scotch and had an infectious laugh that will be missed by many.
Warren is survived by his beloved wife Julia, his children Sue Sheerin, Liz Crawford (Bob), and Brian Flagg; siblings David (Jill), Michael, Steve (Monica) Flagg; grandchildren Amber Sheerin (Stuart Crittenden), Kyle Sheerin (Michelle), Trevor LaFond (Dommy), Katie LaFond (Eric Adams); ten great-grandchildren; and countless friends and neighbors that he loved like family. Warren was preceded in death by his wife Katie, his parents, Warren Sr. and Barbara, and his brother Paul Flagg.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, November 11, 2022 at Genitti's Restaurant, 108 E Main St, Northville, MI 48167 with a luncheon to follow.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Special Olympics Michigan or the charity of your choice in Warren's memory.

I was so sorry to hear about Warren's passing.
I knew Warren in high school. He was a great friend and classmate. Warren was a kind, humorous and wonderful friend.
This Summer Warren and Julie graciously opened their home to host our 60th year high school reunion. As you can imagine it was a smashing success and a first class celebration.
My condolences and sympathy to Julia and the entire Flagg family.
