Hmmm...when I saw the question "how do I know him"...I was gonna click school since I was in his class, but I'll click family since my mom always said "he's ya cousin"... plus, because he always treated me like family and made me feel like family. :) 11yrs since you passed, but I finally found this page and wanted to say thanks for everything. You helped to set me straight Sr. year...probably saved my life. You were one of the best. Aloha!

I remember growing up in Second Bethlehem,looking and waiting for Mr. Warren to come out of the back office to make the announcements. As a kid I know looked up to him. I'm thankful God allowed him to cross my path. The joy I felt as people spoke at Mr. Warren's Service just confirmed the greatness that God had Blessed him with. I'll miss you but never forget you.

Bro. Warren Green epitomized our beloved fraternity's motto "Friendship Is Essential To The Soul". During the two years of our friendship Bro. Green took me in as a family member, introducing me to my brethren at the Rho Phi chapter and also the many friends that I have met and become acquainted with in the JUGS Social Club.

I am still coming to grips with the fact that I had just left him at the JUGS house. Everytime I see his photo I can hear his voice, "Alright Chump! I have fought a good fight, now get in there and continue the task at hand."

To God be the glory.

Warren filled my life with joy and happiness for over 30 years. He was a part of my family, and I will never forget him. I thank God for the gift of his friendship.

We echo many of the same expressions that have been given. They say time heals all wounds. We are deeply wounded and we pray for healing and understanding.

Jen and Steph, rest assured that we will be here for you as we have from the very beginning.

We were struck to learn of Warren's passing. He was a great guy who was raised by wonderful family. We knew Warren as kids in Gert Town and knew that he was one of the most successful and honest guys from the area. The community at large will certainly miss his time and treasures.

Mr.Green, was a dedicated to ensuring that his students were goal oriented and strived to be more than just average. He would question what you would do once you finished high school. He would insist that you fill out those applications for historically black colleges. He was an advocate for education. With that said he would do anything to ensure that you achieved beyond average status. A great educator, mentor, father and you will truly be missed.

Mr. Green taught me major life lessons that I will never forget and appreciate because he was more than just a teacher he was an father figure as well. Mr. Green was like a father and a mentor to me for the past years. He showed me the way both in the Krewe of Nomtoc and in the greatest Fraternity Omega Psi Phi, INC. Mr. Green you will be missed very much.

Cherish your yesterdays for they are irreplaceable memories of your journeys in life. Love shall be your shelter in this time of grief. You are in my prayers and thoughts, your father will be missed in body but not in spirit, he shall always be in our hearts and minds. You are soaring with the angels...our last meeting at our 50th high school reunion was a joyous occassion, but our next meeting will really be a celebration. My prayers go out to your family and loved ones, and may they find comfort in knowing you are smiling down on all of us.
