Warren Lockett

Warren Lockett, age 83, died on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, in Woodbridge. Warren served in the U.S. Air Force in Europe during W.W. II and the 5th Air Force in Korea. He was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He retired from Virginia Power in 1969 and from the D.C. Government in Lorton as a corrections officer. Survivors include his wife Isabelle Lockett; daughter, Leah Samuels of Spotsylvania; son Gary Lockett of New Market, Md.; sisters, Beatrice Becker and Louis Higgs of Fredericksburg, and Ethel Lescure of Woodbridge; and his brothers, Winter Lockett of Fredericksburg, Mortimer Lockett of Maine, and Olney Locket of New Mexico. A devoted husband and loving father, Warren enjoyed swimming, gardening, and spending time with his family. A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, Sept. 13, at Dumfries Cemetery, 17821 Mine Road, Dumfries.
