I went to Salisbury Comp in Sherwood Park with Warren and graduated in 1978 but only got to know him through the 25th high school reunion that he was instrumental in organizing. Thanks so much Warren. My deepest condolances to his family.

I am a VR rider who was fortunate enough to have met Warren at the Creston Rally. He had energy and a passion for riding that he shared at every opportunity. I shall miss him. My condolences to his family and friends.

Chris, Hannah, Noah and I would like to send our sympathies to Gerry, Eula, Jane, Doug and all the Regehr family. It is inspiring to read the many, many tributes for a life that was much too short and filled with too much pain, but that was lived with so much zest for life, and which so deeply touched so many people.

I know Warren since years by our work for nx.
During his stay in Dresden and our stay in Hemel I got to know him as a splendid fellow. It was a pleasure to work with him together. He was always great at his stuff.
I'll miss you, Warren, my bawcock.

Only met Warren once on the Kananaskis Rally this past summer. That is all it took to see what a great person he was. My deepest condolences to all family and friends. He will certainly be a huge loss to our family at VR.

I knew Warren a number of years ago through a bible study I was attending at the time. I was always amazed at how; even back then, he had been and was going through so much with his health and yet still had so much positive to say and give to those around him. All my families best to those whom he influenced in such a positive way during his short time with us.
Warren....see you later.

We were working together in England 2 years ago and had a nice time. Highlights were the trips we made in the group and the little parties we organized.
I liked Warrens sense of humor, his zest for life and his photos.
My condolences to the family.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy is with Warren's Mom and Dad, sister Jane and much bragged about Brette and Kim. I have so many fond memories of being friends with Warren while in my high school years attending the Sherwood Park Alliance Church. Warren was so fun! He had so much energy and had that goofy sense of humour that won hearts. He was a dear, dear friend to me and I feel such a loss that he has gone and I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

Sincerely,

Karey Tate (formerly Karey Wingerter)

R.I.P. Brother Warren. Thank You for your words of wisdom and wit. May you be blessed with tailwinds and sunny skies on your eternal ride.

Condolences to all the family and friends of this great man. The three days my daughter and I spent riding with Warren and the Western group in Utah were remarkable. You can be assured that Warren touched the lives of many in an extremely positive way with his infectious attitude towards life in general.

My condolences to Kim & Brett and the rest of the family. I had the privilege of meeting Warren and riding together a few times, as well as trading emails. I always enjoyed conversing with Warren (so much on his mind) and his wit and ever-present enthusiasm for life were truly inspiring. He touched my life and was an inspiration to me in many ways. Warren once wrote me that he was amazed at the attachments and the friends he had made through Volusia Riders. Obviously though, it was just a case of getting back a little bit of what he gave.

He will be missed, but also loved and remembered. Rest in Peace my friend.

To Mr. and Mrs. Regehr, Jane and family - I was saddened to hear of your loss in a telephone call from my parents last evening. I remember Warren as 'Jane's little brother' when our fathers were posted in Greenwood, Nova Scotia at the same time. May we all learn to live our lives to the fullest, as Warren obviously did from the accounts of those who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time of great sorrow and adjustment.

I was a colleague of Warren’s at net-linx. Not only was Warren a wonderful person to work with, but we also shared organizing the Thursday chicken lunches together, which he enjoyed very much. I also enjoyed looking at Warrens travel pictures web site and his witty and insightful comments. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Dad;
You were a wonderful Sunday School teacher, and the coolest dad out of any of my friends! You, Kim and I had wonderful times whether it was rock climbing or playing Name That Tune and I'm happy to know that you aren't suffering anymore.
Until we meet again... where I'm sure you'll be waiting to tease me about something new... because that's what you do.

Warren :
You were such an inspiration. Inspite of the pain and sufferring you were the one offerring encouragement. Your smile, your stories, your hugs, your presence will be greatly missed in our bible study group and in our lives. I take great solace in knowing that you woke up in the arms of Jesus and that I will see you again. My hope is that your life will continue to be an example to all who knew you as to how to live and embrace all the good things that God has blessed us with in this life. So long brother. My sympathies to your loved ones. May they also find comfort in the arms of the God you loved and lived for.

Warren;
You fought a hard battle, but death is not the victor, you have gone ahead of us to be with Jesus.
I will miss your smile, the close friendship we were developing, the horse and motorcycle trip stories we shared.
The excellent news is that I will see you again. I look forward to seeing your smile once again in heaven...
For the family I would say, turn to God during this very hard time. God loves you and died for you. He is your God as he is Warrens.
Some things are hard to understand why God called him home so soon. May he comfort you also. Warren lived life in a large way and to the fullest....go do likewise.....in his rememberance

To the Regehr's,

I was Warren's neighbour on Greystone as a child - he was one of the "older" kids on the cul de sac - 5 or so years older than me. He was a teenager then and we were playful children. It was a busy cul de sac!

Eula and Gerry, we saw you last fall and could feel your sadness for Warren and the cancer he was enduring. We hope you and the rest of his family keep his memory alive - each person teaches us about life. God bless and keep you.

Warren was full of character. He seemed to approach every day as though it was an adventure. I enjoyed my time with him and I saw how others were drawn to him. I am deeply saddened at Warren's passing and I will miss the colourful stories he shared with us.
