Hello Warren;
You were always a big part of our holidays, and we miss you terribly. It was very special having Pat come to stay with us. We're hoping that he'll come every year. We stopped up to say Merry Christmas to you--it was very hard on all of us. We made you a snowman. We laughed about how you would take Megan sled riding, and come back soak and wet. What a trooper. Not a day goes by that we don't think of you.

To my dear old friend from what seems like a life time ago. We first met in Sacramento in 1970, you had the old honda motorcycle from CT. We were so young, and we shared many moments together in Korat, and Kwang Ju, and at the 552nd in McClellan. We drove cross country one Christmas enroute to Bridgeport CT....only to get stuck at a bar in the Newark Airport. Please know I searched for you for years, only to find you this info. I cried like a baby reading this, only to know I didn't try hard enough. I hope you are at peace. Hope is a good thing, possibly the best of all things, and good things never die

Provided superior leadership in the Joint-STARS' (E-8C) Air Force Engineering and Technical Services (AFETS) Office. In doing so, he gave our unit the capability to quickly resolve complex or unusual technical problems in a wartime environment. Our hearts are heavy with the sad news of his untimely passing. We will always cherish the fond memories of this great patriot and fellow warrior - Godspeed Van!
