Wayne Adams Obituary
Wayne was born in Poland Junction, AZ on June 10, 1932 to Albert, a miner and Geneva (Williams), a school teacher. He grew up in Mayer, Arizona and died in Mesa, AZ on October 29, 2014 after losing his second battle with cancer. He is survived by Mary Ellen (Monson), his wife of 58 years, his daughter Rainette Geudon (Gerard) and his son Trent (Shelia). He was beloved "Poppa" to Rainette's daughters Athena, Mariah and Rachel and Trent and Shelias' daughter Maddie, as well as Rainette's two grandsons. He is also survived by his sister Carolyn Fairall (Gary) and brother Larry (Carolyn "Robbie") and nieces and nephews. Wayne served in the navy as a Sea Bee (construction battalion) during the Korean War. Upon discharge he moved to Tempe, Arizona where he met and married Mary Ellen. Later the family moved to Bullhead City, AZ where he established Adams Construction and ran it for nearly 35 years before retiring to Mesa where he became well known for his creative ability through construction steel decorative pieces including figures and furniture under the title of Wayne Works.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to American Cancer Association or your favorite charity in Wayne's memory. A Celebration of Wayne's life will be held at Trent and Shelia's home on Saturday, November 8th.

Wayne and I have had some really good times as I worked for him and with him. I felt that he had faith in me and I in him.I will never forget this friend,and I know a lot of other people that had meant him will feel the same way,as he was one of a kind.God has him now,and he is at peace for ever.
