My first memory of "Wild Wayne" as known by me and my boys, was on one of our outings with him to "The Big Crush", where I got to here so many jokes and meet a large "teddy bear" of a man, who had a comeback line for anything put in front of him. I would come to know him as a part of the family and perfect fit for that "something that seemed to be needed" at every party and event. Wayne fit perfectly into our lives from day one and I could always count on him to "tell it like it is".
Thank you Wayne for your honesty with my boys (even when it was scary honest) and your consistency in humoring and supporting friends, family and strangers. Your presence here will be missed "my friend". You are an honorable man.
Thank you especially , for that part of you, that has touched us and will continue to live in each of our lives.

Wayne hated sunflowers and I love them! Later I found out why he didn´t like them, he used to live in Ohio as a kid and he said he would walk home from school & the giant sunflowers seemed to follow him, it scared him so much, so I would always tease him about it after that! We had some good laughs together!! I miss him and how goofy he could be, he also had a huge heart even though he tried to hide it sometimes!

Wayne was such an amazing man. When he loved people, he loved with his whole heart. He taught me the meaning of integrity..."doing the right thing, even when no one is looking". When I was a kid, he would help me with my homework and he would always tell me and my siblings to "do the math". He taught me how to drive and how important it was to have good work ethic. We would go to Blockbuster almost ever Friday to pick out a movie for the weekend. The movie always ended up being some action movie I didn´t want to watch but watched anyway because the family time was priceless. He is the reason that every once in a while, I just have to have a Pepsi and a Reese´s Cup. He was always someone you could depend on and is missed beyond words. Best step dad I could have asked for. Thank you for loving us as your own. I miss you.

One of my first memories of Wayne was hanging out at Folsom lake, with Glendia Hudson Wells. And Dave Wells. Wayne took my then 6 year daughter on a jet ski and let her drive, it made her so happy.
