I remember Wayne as a competent colleague and very active representative of the staff at ICAO. But above all he was a good friend. I will always remember him for his personal qualities and the support he gave me.

How to say goodbye to somebody so special? I do not know the answer to this one. But I will cherish all the memories that we've made over the years. You were so proud of your boys and your wife, I hope they can find comfort in the legacy you leave behind. It is huge. Salut mon ami !

It is with great surprise that I learnt of your travel to a better world! As a FICSA colleague, you taught me a lot and encouraged me in keeping the fight for UN colleagues at SCBD in Montreal. RIP.

I had the pleasure to work with Wayne when he was the President of the Federation of International Civil Servants' Associations (FICSA). As FICSA President, he always vigorously defended the interests of UN System staff . My sincerest condolences go to his family.
