Dear Catherine, Liam and Harry.
It was with great sadness that I heard that Wayne had passed away. He was such a lovely man and a fun person to be around. I will never forget his kindness to me and Helen when I had an extended stay of 6 months in NZ. He always made an effort to drop by and see me when I was over for which I was very grateful.
I hope you can take comfort in the wonderful times you all had together. Hold on to your happy memories your family and your friends. You will need them all to get you through and yes you will make it in the eventually.
You are in my thoughts.
With fondest love

Though our words can do little during this difficult time, we hope our thoughts and prayers will support you at this time. Wayne was such a vibrant man and will be sorely missed by all.

Dear Chosen Family
So sorry I can't be there on Friday to celebrate Wayne's life, hug you, and both laugh and cry with you. Will be thinking of you all from the other side of the Tasman. Stay strong, and may all those good memories you have of Wayne be forefront in your minds.
Love and cyberhugs.

It is with great sadness to hear of Wayne's passing.
Wayne made an outstanding commitment to the New Zealand Fire Service and latterly Fire and Emergency New Zealand, as a supplier and as an industry professional over many years. Wayne was a large part of the development, design and delivery of our Fire and Emergency crests that stand proudly on our Fire Stations today from Bluff to Kaitaia.
Wayne was an enormous contributor to many plaques around the country on fire stations and awards for those who had achieved significant milestones in their service. Always approachable, always committed and a pleasure to work with. His legacy stands today on our fire stations around the country.
Our thoughts are with his family at this time.

So very sorry to hear this sad news. Wayne knew what mattered in life and how to bring out the best in people. I may not have seen him for a long time, but I know those traits wouldn't have changed. I also know what a huge hole he will leave in the lives of his family and friends. Thinking of you all xxx
