Brenda, I was stunned and saddened to learn of Wayne's death in our church newsletter (through Bess Fuller). Please accept my deepest sympathy. Wayne was a warm and caring man who obviously adored his family. I'm so glad I was able to see him and meet you after his father's funeral in Albany. Our days as classmates at North Georgia were fun times and I always considered him a dear friend. Having lost my mother to pancreatic cancer, I can relate to what your family faced and please know you are in my prayers. Warm regards,
Jennifer Joseph

I want to express my deepest sympathy to Brenda, Stephanie, Shannon, Brooke and Ava, and the entire Fuller family for the loss of their beloved. Wayne truly was a hero.
I am thankful that my son, Tony, was able to become and is a part of the Fuller family. He got to know and love Wayne as everyone who met him did.
Therefore in remembrance:
His life here on earth seemed way to short
He served our country with a courageous heart.
While his accomplishments were oh so much
His cherished family will miss his touch.
No need to worry for where or when
He'll always be with you until the end.

I can still remember the first day I showed him my ham radio license. He was jealous because I got mine a week before him and I was just a teenager in high school. Shortly thereafter, he became my rifle team coach and mentor and was a great impact on my life from then on. I will always hold fond memories of Major Fuller in my heart. My wife and I will keep your family in our prayers. Sincerely, Damon & Melanie Wascom

My son, Damon Wascom, and Maj. Fuller developed a friendship while Damon was a member of the JROTC Competition Shooting Team at Istrouma High.
I have always appreciated the guidance and positive affect that Maj. Fuller had on Damon, which helped him become the man he is today.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this sorrowful time.

We are so sorry for the loss of Wayno(as we called him!). Everytime we think of him, we smile and we will miss him and his sense of humor. We shared lots of good times in Italy and there are lots of memorable moments we have of him like the time we were staying at Brenda and Wayne's house and Wayne came out in Brenda's robe with Stephanie's baby bottle in his mouth! We are so sorry he never got to enjoy the retirement he so deserved after his long years of service to the military. We know he was looking forward to that time with Brenda as well as watching his grandchildren grow up. He was truly one of a kind and we will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brenda, the girls, and his entire family. Love you guys.

It is with great sorrow that I watch another great American Hero pass. Over the past 40+ years he gave so much to America and to the young people in his JROTC Program. He has truly made a positive difference in so many lives. For the last 20 years he was a great friend and mentor to me and I will always remember him with respect and warm regard.

With a heavy heart, we say farewell to our hero. My father took care of my mother and his girls throughout the years, during the good times and the bad. He will be deeply missed--more than any words in this world could express. I give thanks to all of our family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and medical experts that prayed and cared for him during his last days. Our family appreciates all of the prayers that made his last days as peaceful as they could be. Even the simplest of gestures became monumental to him during the end of his accomplished, honorable life.
Thank you to all who loved him, as I know a piece of him is with you now.
