GEORGE
WAYNE
Age 76, of Shaler, on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, left the loving arms of his beloved high school sweetheart and wife of 56 years, Pat Tolley George, and went home to his mom and dad, Mildred and Melvin George and his brother, Don. Wayne leaves behind his cherished daughters, Susan (JoJo) George and Kelly (John) Kuzemchak; and the lights of his life, his granddaughters, Courtney and Lexi Kuzemchak. A quiet gentleman, Wayne loved his family, the home he built, and his many friends and family members, including his stepmother in-law, Helen Tolley, who wore out her rosary praying for him. He loved woodworking in his basement workshop, photography, traveling, and spending time with his friends at the Allegheny Country Rifle Club and Logan's Ferry Sportsman Club, and was a member of Corinthian Lodge 573, and Glenshaw Presbyterian Church. According to his wishes, there will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glenshaw Presbyterian Church on Saturday, April 7, at 11 a.m. Wayne fought a courageous 3 year battle with lymphoma. If you wish to remember Wayne by making a memorial donation, please do so to cancer research, Glenshaw Century Club to help fund scholarships for Shaler Area students, or to the Glenshaw Presbyterian Church. Arrangements made by the BOCK FUNERAL HOME, LTD., Glenshaw.

It was with deep sorrow that I read about Wayne's passing. It is with fond memories that I remember him from first grade at Bauerstown Elementary through high school and beyond. I will miss seeing him at our reunions but will look forward to seeing you, Pat. We pray that God will offer you comfort and peace during this difficult time. Bob and Sue Krampf

Wayne went to first grade with me at Bauerstown Elementary School. He got me in to Cub Scouts and we remained friends, mostly from afar as we moved here and there with a 20+ year time in Florida. But he was a friend both times I returned to Shaler: in early High School and then finally back there to Graduate. I'm writing this with tears and prayers for him and Pat. I so much believe in living by example and Wayne and Pat have always done that and have been in my messages about that to my kids and grandkids. Rest in Peace my friend.

Pat, I am so sorry you lost your beloved Wayne. I was on a double date with you and Wayne when you had your first date. I could tell that you all fell madly in love with each other on the first date. May Wayne rest in peace. Denni Saunders Coker (Shaler class of 1961. In year book as Denise Kay Saunders.)

Words cannot express my sadness when I read of Wayne's passing. My thoughts go back to our first meeting when Wayne came to work at Rust Engineering, at the age of 24. We have been coworkers and friends ever since. When Rust closed the Pgh. office, Wayne went back to Chem Plants, but worked the overtime hours at Master Engineers, where I was working. Then we both ended up ay Dravo Corp. Things that I remember are the cookies that Pat would send us and the times that Kelly would stop by the office to visit her dad. And also our last very short passing at Hienz Field at a Pitt Football Game last fall.

Not sure what I could do but if there is anything that you might want me to do, don't hesitate to let me know.
