WAYNE GLANZEL Obituary
Wayne J. Glanzel, age 59, died unexpectedly on Monday, February 27, 2006, at Wilmington Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #626, and a Master Mason with Christiana Lodge #35 AF&AM.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Heinz and Ohney Glanzel; and brother, Kevin Glanzel. He is survived by his son, Brian Glanzel; his sister, Catherine Jacobi, and her husband, Corky; his nephew, Keith Jacobi; his nieces, Dena and Shilah Jacobi; 4 grandnieces; 1 grandnephew; and the light of his life, his grandson, Xavier Nicholas Glanzel.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 3 pm on Sunday, March 5th, at the Krienen-Griffith Funeral Home, 1400 Kirkwood Hwy., Elsmere. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Wayne's memory to the Xavier Glanzel College Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, 4720 Limestone Rd., O1B-0407, Wilmington, DE 19808.
