God bless you brother, Condolence to the family. I remember serving with him on the USS John F. Kennedy, he checked in as my supervisor on weapons support equipment. Wayne was a very good friend, use to see him time after time in Lexington Park, the brother was always smiling.

"Sail away, my friend, on the eternal seas,
Your spirit now roams with the ocean breeze.
With every gentle wave that kisses the shore,
We feel your presence forevermore."

You will always be in my memory brother. I salute you, Earnest Hagan and family.

Bro. Wayne was always a good brother to chat. He always had a warm and welcoming smile. It's amazing how our paths crossed in Lexington Park at First Missionary Baptist Church after I grew up with LaShawn at Brookland Union Baptist Church.
Condolences to the family. May memories of Wayne be a blessing; they are a blessing to me.

Wayne was quite studious! He earned first place in an essay contest sponsored by the Omega´s and I earned second. We stayed touch for a brief time after HS. I could tell he loved serving. It´s unfortunate we did not get a chance to share stories about his naval service and my career with the Navy. I extend sincere condolences to family and friends.
