It took me some time to add a message. Perhaps that is because i knew i would be saying good-bye. How do I say good-bye to someone who has been in my life over fifty years? A man I shared laughter and tears with, a man who valued his friends and gave of himself more than most ever knew. Never closed his door or his heart to someone in need. The parties of our youth never started until someone yelled "Wayne's here". Well, my friend, I guess the party has come to an end and i don't want to hear someone say "Wayne's gone". You will be missed by so many and i am honoured to have been called friend. I will truly miss hearing you call me "Auddie Pie". As I so sadly close this chapter of my life, my deepest sympathies go out to his family and especially to his beloved sister and his sons, three young men I know he loved as I listened to him speak about them and saw how proud he was of them all.

Where to begin...We were of the same blood, you were my cousin. You used to come and spend time in Pelly during the summers. You would come to the farm, we would explore, rides horses, chase fireflies at night, and all the fun things kids do to while-away the hot days of summer. You used to go swimming in the river with our cousins from town. Life was simple. I remember when had a cast on your arm and had to slow it down for that summer. As I knew him, Wayne was a kind and loving person.... generous, thoughtful, and wow! did he love his family. He, Kenelm, and Uncle Norman came to see my Dad when my Dad was dying, and that brought so much love and happiness to my Dad in his final days. Wayne was a good person, I loved him, he was my cousin.....Rest in Peace, and I wish for your kids to know my memories of you. My love to Wayne's family... Maureen Morgan
