Wayne C McLaughlin

Wayne C. McLaughlin (89) of Hoffman Estates, born October 22, 1933, peacefully at rest August 30, 2023. Wayne was a loving husband to Dorothy Sode-McLaughlin (Dee) and a dear father to Michelle, Kelly, and Doug. Wayne was grandfather to Claire, Emma, and Adriana; great-grandfather to Sophia and Julian. Wayne will also be remembered by the Amato Family and many dear friends. We commemorate Wayne for his service to the church (Prince of Peace), his love for books, and his passion for politics. He will be remembered most of all by his favorite expression, "I'm Perfect." The Family wishes to express their heartfelt thank you to Apex Hospice for their concern and comfort given to the Family during this time. Visitation will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 930 W. Higgins Rd, Schaumburg, IL, on September 23, 2023, from 10-11 AM; Church Service following at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in memory of Wayne McLaughlin to support the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Chicago Medicine.
