Wayne MINOGUE Obituary
Passed away peacefully Monday, August 29, 2016 at the age of 75. Wayne will be missed immensely. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sharon, his two daughters Tara and Sharon, his grandchildren, Parker, Violet, Risto, grandbaby #4 due to arrive this December, as well as his brother Earl; and sisters Shirley and Barbara. A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 at Big Rock Grill from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. If desired, memorial tributes in Wayne's name can be made to the Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation. He was like an uncle to me and my family. He watched my mother grow up from when they were neighbors to me growing up and having kids of my own. He was the only chiropractor that I allowed to help treat my scoliosis and he kept me out of surgery by keeping my spine as straight and strong as possible. My husband and I miss him dearly, we think of Sharon and the girls often, we especially think of Wayne and Sharon when we plan trips to Central America.

A fine man, a proud husband, father and grandfather and an outstanding care giver. He was more like a friend than your chiropractor and he made you feel you were special and important. He was a great guy and a rare individual.

Janet and I hope you are surrounded by warm thoughts and memories during such a difficult time. Wayne was a great mentor of mine who shaped my own life and career in countless ways. It was Wayne who gave me my first chance to practice as a chiropractor and then supported me in my decision to enter into a research career. He was a great man and I will miss him and his wisdom. We are holding you close in our thoughts.
