Our sincere condolences to Gloria and all the family. We first met you both many years ago in Mauritius while on a Capricorn convention. It was Wayne who inspired and encouraged me to become a Director of Capricorn, a company that we were both passionate about. I valued his friendship and the support he extended to me while working with him on both the Capricorn & Capricorn Mutual Boards. His dedication and commitment to the car industry will be sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

It is with sadness that I offer my condolence to Wayne's family and close friends at this time after receiving news of his passing.

Wayne will be remembered well for many reasons.

Amongst his personal attributes his passion, commitment and sense of humour stand as highlights.

I had the opportunity to witness those same attributes combined with his capabilities and experience as an accomplished businessman, which he demonstrated in his professional life as a Director serving on the Board of Capricorn and Capricorn Mutual, both of which he also served as Chairman.

Wayne's period of service at Capricorn, the Board of MTA-WA, and MTAA, was long and meritorious. Wayne made very significant contributions to the motor industry, an industry he loved.

I was grateful to Wayne for sharing his tales of his time in motor racing, particularly those when he drove with Peter Brock as a member of the Holden Dealer Team. Great stories!! And clearly Wayne was not only competitive but also an accomplished and highly skilled sportsman.

Wayne achieved a great deal, had his own style, and brought honour to his family and colleagues alike.

Sadly missed, kindly remembered.

Thanks Wayne for life lessons you gave me. My thoughts are with the family at this time. Russell Green.

As a friend for 35 years, Wayne was a constant source of entertainment, enterprise and dedication to the task of life. His enthusiasm for taking risks was matched by his dedication and hard work. My friendship with Wayne was capped off at this time last year with a nostalgic trip to worship old racing cars at the Goodwood Revival in the UK. His willingness to offer advice, to improvise and implement solutions for those in need was legendary. Farewell and Godspeed to a true West Australian bush mechanic. You will be missed by many McGiver.
Sincere condolences to all who grieve his passing.

Wayne became a more than a colleague Board member at Capricorn Society - he became a friend, and we kept in touch after we both left the Board. A true champion. Vale Wayne.
