Wayne Phipps Obituary
He was born in Chardon, Ohio to the late Wayne and Bernice (Repasky) Phipps. He graduated from Burton High School, class of 1966. He served in The Old Guard, 3rd Infantry, A Company in Washington, D.C. during the Vietnam War.
Johnny worked for 24 years as a city bus driver for Phoenix Transit. He was the proud father of two sons and leaves behind his two loyal dogs, Heidi and Siggie.
He was able to connect with people from all walks of life and had a great sense of humour. The family wishes to thank all of the Prescott, Arizona First Responders who came to his rescue on several calls.
