Grandpa, one more thing.... I think in heaven the snow will be perfect with no footprints and fresh and you never have to shovel it, it will stay that way forever.Pure and white and perfect fresh snow, I bet it's beautiful!

I loved my grandfather so much. The thing that most impacted me about him was that when he did anything, he did it flawlessly, he never did anything poorly everything he did was perfect.when I was little he had a small hole in the floor and I watched him in his woodshop in the basement where he made the most beautiful toys (I was absolutely fascinated) not only wooden toys but leather goods. Grandpa made maple syrup from the trees in his backyard and his garage was full of maple syrup jugs. Many many times I went camping with my grandparents as a little girl, it was the most and will continue to be my most precious memories, we made smores and went to little tourist traps while my grandparents watched the local news on the little black and white TV in the camper. Christmas was the most beautiful time at Grandma and Grandpa Poisson house the tree was immaculate and Grandpa went through every pain to make it absolutely fairy tale like. The tree was decorated to perfection and the lights on the outside of the house made the entire house look like a gingerbread house, it was breathtaking. We would lay on their floor in sleeping bags and watch the little village around the Christmas tree and watch traditional movies and my Grandpa would tell us that he saw elves outside or Santa watching, it was beautiful. It was so comforting to be in their house, I felt at home. They had an attic which was so full of special things that were saved up over the years and Grandpa and Grandma would let us look through all of the memories. When Grandpa would eat dinner he sat in his special chair and turned the news on and started snoring when he scored we thought he was asleep so we would change the channel in which he would become angry, immediately open his eyes and say, "Hey turn that back" . We never got away with changing the channels. I have spent the last week thinking of all of the wonderful things that I loved about Grandpa, he was very special to me and I love him.
