Wayne Rountree Obituary
He will always be remembered as the ultimate family man and patriot. He was a person who never met a stranger and always had a welcome smile and open heart. He valued hard work, honesty, loyalty, and most of all, loved his family!
Wayne "Pop" Rountree is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Lou "Granny" Rountree, as well as his sons and daughters (by marriage), Duke and April Rountree & Jeff and Cheryl Rountree; 3 grandchildren: Skylar, Chase and Lauren; 1 great grandchild: Paris
Please join us celebrating the life of the man, the myth, the legend - Saturday morning May 28. Viewing will be at 10 am. Service will be at 11:00 am. To be held at Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE 21 Avenue, Anthony, FL 32617. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org). Wayne/Pop would like everyone to attend in casual and/or Patriotic attire.

We were both former Marines and worked together at the Post Office. Wayne was a very good man!! I am saddened to learn of his passing! I am praying for the family.
