Wayne Shaw Obituary
He was born June 15, 1946, in Randolph, the son of Winston and Cora (Mills) Shaw Sr.
He graduated from Rochester High School.
He married Carol Adair on Nov. 13, 1971.
He was employed by United Technology Aircraft in Middletown, Conn., prior to his retirement. He moved back to Vermont in 1988.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and family gatherings.
He attended Victory Ministry Outreach Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carol of North Clarendon; four children, Wayne Shaw Jr. of Fair Haven, Jeremiah Shaw of Brandon, and Rebekah Bruce and Matthew Shaw, both of North Clarendon; nine grandchildren; five brothers, Winston Shaw Jr., David Shaw of Mendon, Douglas Shaw and Steven Shaw, all of Rochester, and Joseph Shaw of Hancock; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; stepmother, Honorah "Mickey" Shaw; and a brother, Myron Shaw.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, March 24, at Aldous Funeral Home, 44 North Main St., Rutland. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. A reception will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayne D. Shaw Sr. Memorial Fund, PO Box 165, North Clarendon, VT 05759.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Brother Wayne. We will always remember his unfailing love of the Lord, his strong faith as well as his love for Vermont! He will be missed by us now, but knowing that we will see him again will help us get through with the memories. Please know that we are praying for the family.

How sad to lose such a nice man. Mr. Shaw used to stop in to see the crew at Alderman's. He would bring us coffee and even movies that he thought we would enjoy. Even while in pain, he managed to also give all of us a smile and kind word. I will miss those twinkling eyes.
