I have known Wayne from childhood. We were next door neighbors. Wayne knew everyone and remembered everyone's name and faces throughout the years. I am sad that I didn't have a chance to touch base with him over these past few years. I will always remember the great times we had together. Our first hunting trip with his dad back home. The sleep overs on the front porches, fighting off mosquitoes, playing football by Lincoln school, snow ball fights, trick and treating, birthday parties. Going to the thousand islands with your family. These are just a few of the memories I have. Wayne you will be truly missed by your friends and your family. Wayne I will be celebrating your life on Aug. 4 up here in Boston. I will light a candle at the church and I will remember you as I do Bill Boser who drowned on July 3, 1983 back in sugar bay. Wayne until we meet again. May god be with you and you family, as well as your friends.

Tick came into my life at a very young and impressionable age... I grew up behind the house where he and his mom lived in the late 70s. I was one of the little kids who was always hanging around him, Danny, Brian (Feen), and the Lewis boys, trying to be like one of the guys (anyone who knew him then will know who I mean). They always took the time to include us and let us be a part of whatever they were doing. Good or bad... lol.
I didnt have a father, and Tick was one of the guys that taught me how a man is supposed to act. I learned a lot about how to dish it out as well as be able to take it... and I can still hear that gruff laugh of his... He always made sure the older neighborhood boys didnt mess with me too much, and made sure I knew it when I was out of line. We fell out of touch later in life, but we did talk a bit through Facebook once in a while, and he seemed genuinely happy to be where he was in life.
He made a huge impression on me as a young man, and I will miss him greatly. My condolences to all of his family and friends. Rest In Peace Ticker.
