I got to park his Ferrari as I was working as a valet. Wayne inspires people even as he walks. He acted as one of us and always found time to share a word or two. My condolence to your family. We'll remember him as the one who inspires dreams. A life well lived, a legacy to be told. Certainly his story does not end here, his kindness and radiance will be told even long after he's gone. Thank you for the dream sir!

Stunned to hear of Wayne's death. I just presumed he would live forever. I have fond memories of his years at 5AD in the 1960's he was the ultimate larrikan and did it all without sleep.
When I met up with him a few years ago in Adelaide and we talked about what he had done and was doing, it sounded like James Bond novel.
My condolences to his family.

A first class journey with you always. You taught me so much about life.We briefly hit some turbulence but progressed to share a great friendship and mutual respect.
I will miss you and your beautiful mother, Jean and sister, Gloria but the special memories of you and my love for your family will never diminish.

Great memories of a great character from our days in radio and tv in Adelaide through the 80's and 90's when you were at QANTAS and I was doing News and Travel in radio and print in Perth. Fly high old mate!

Tregaskis - you never let me down; jokes that would get others thrown out, impeccable wine , insights when one least expected them. Most of all, you kept your eye out for your mates. You were a champion guy - how could you nick off like that ? We will be missing you frequently.
