Weggie Lawrence Obituary
Weggie survived by his wife, Paula Lawrence, two daughters, Lindsey Kennington (Kraig) and Stacey Nettles and one granddaughter, Taylor Hollifield all of Lake City.
Funeral services for Weggie will be conducted on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Gateway~Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bo Hammock officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Haven Hospice of the Suwannee Valley at 6037 Hwy 90 West, Lake City, Fl 32055. Arrangements are under the direction of the GATEWAY~FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 South US Hwy 441, Lake City. 386-752-1954 Please sign the guestbook at www.gatewayforestlawn.com

My heart goes out to you, Everybody knows Weggie was one in a million.
My whole family loved Weggie, The last time I saw him was at my mamas viewing- That is how I want to remember him- Smiling giving me a hug.
He was so very proud of his girls and grandbaby, I could not bear to go see him in the hospital- I wanted to- I just couldn't- Please know that I admire how strong you and your girls were- And how PROUD Weggie was looking down at you.

Sorry to learn of Weggie's death. Cara Called me. I can't be there to give you hugs,my arms are't that long. However I know the One on high has within His arms which surround you His angels surrounding each you with His love, giving comfort and answering your needs.
Weggie no longer hurts and is visiting with those who have gone on before him. Keep your memories as they as a great blessing. You will need them for laughter, joy, and tears, and telling them to grandchildren.Use them often. They don't change, you can have them anytime any place and no one can take them from you. Many prayers have been said by our prayer chain at my church. They pray for you now as they know of your loss.I send my sympathy and love.
