Mr. Edwards left an awesome legacy. Because of his foresight many East Texans had a chance to attend Nursing School and live at home. Many East Texans still do enjoy the benefits of Meals on Wheels. To live to 98 and see the results of his vision is a blessing. Thank you to the Edwards family for carrying on W C's legacy.

We appreciated Welby's friendship and his faithfulness to his church and community. I am grateful for the privilege of serving with him at Tyler's First Baptist Church.

I will always remember Mr. Edwards with so much fondness. He and Mrs. E. wanted Dennis and I to get married and pushed the point until we were married. They both loved each employee they had and it was always a family atmosphere at WC Supply Co. WC had such of sense of humor and always had some kind of prank to play. We made several business trips with them over the years and he would pull his prank & Ms. E being the absolute lady would just shake her head and go on. They were a beautiful couple and totally devoted to each other. I'm glad I'm glad I had the great fortune to know the both of them.

What a long and fantastic life Welby led.
Wow, to have lived almost 99 years is amazing. Thank you for all you have done for the city of Tyler. You leave a wonderful legacy. It was an honor to have known you personally.
