Whitey was a generous neighbor and gifted bee keeper. He loved sharing his knowledge with others and he will be missed by many in our little village of Sugar Grove. Rest in peace, my friend!

I am whiteys step son william Kelly Kemper johnson. Whitey was a man most wish they could be. He excelled in everything his hand touched. He was in tune with the earth and loved by every one he encountered. You are truly missed and the earth is a better place because you lived on it. Shambala mountain man!!

I met Whitey when I was a teenager. He was so impressive with his understanding of plants and animals and willingness to share his knowledge with patience and kindness. Later, when my children were small, they loved to visit Whitey and get emu eggs. Whitey was always the life of the party with his big warm smile. We miss you!!!!!

I was a probate at engine company #18, in the Richmond fire department, starting in June 1963. Whitey was one
of the first to welcome me to the station. I have very fond memories of that time. I knew near nothing about the
job, and Whitey was always willing to guide and instruct. I have seen Whitey several times over the ensuing years
and he was always Whitey!
Farewell my friend, and peace for eternity.

You will be deeply missed Whitey!! I will miss your contagious smile, your funny stories, your big laughter and most of all the way you cared for me when I needed it the most. You were always a fantastic host and full of warmth. Walks through your garden and learnings always offered at the asking. You were a fantastic Grandpa and I´m grateful for the memories my daughter has to hold and cherish. Indeed you will be missed!! Big hugs to you in heaven! Thank you for being such a big part of my and my families lives!
