Dear Mrs. Tsai:

I am Miguel Flusser, Vilem Flusser`s son, whom I had the privilege of joining with you for a few months in late 1970, as an assistent in Mr. Tsai´s atelier, at your residence in Paris.

With great sadness I received the news that Mr. Tsai has passed by.

In all these years I had in my mind the unforgettable stay, which includes your attention and admiration I had of Mr. Tsai´s work.

I also have very good memories of you and your little children at that time.

May Wen-Ying Tsai know love and serenity always in his new home, and may Pei Di and the children be comforted and know love and serenity always as well. Here is to remembering a brilliant, creative and gentle soul. Our hearts are with yours.

We admired Uncle Wen-Ying for his many fine qualities and attributes as a true rennaisance-man, loving husband and father, and example of what can be accomplished with great vision, intelligence, and passion for living.

While my family and I (residing in Napa Valley) were not able to spend time with him, Pei-Di and their sons over the last several years, I thought of this great uncle often and with great affection.

We extend our heart-felt condolences to Pei-Di and the Tsai family.
