Dear Toots, Lois, Leslie and family,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather. My Mom shared the news with me earlier this week. I hope you were able to grieve as well as celebrate his wonderful life at the funeral service. I will always remember our annual family picnics at Lake Cable and the opportunity to ride on Wendell's pontoon boat and his positive outlook on life. Miss getting together with everyone since I've moved to the other side of PA.

Dear Toots, Lois, and Leslie,
Donnie Maurer shared Wendy's beautiful obituary with us through e-mail. I read it to my Mom yesterday (she is in rehab following a stroke in mid March). I remarked at all the great memories and opportunities that Wendy had. He lived a wonderful life and was always so kind to me through our many family gatherings. I can see his bitg smile and hear his hearty laugh.

Sorry to hear about your loss. We will miss him greatly. Always looked forward to hearing his stories at the family reunions. He will join the many great family members we have lost over the years. Thanks for all the great memories Wendell.

So sorry to hear about Wendell's death. My parents have always treasured their friendship with your family, as have I, though time and distance have prevented closer contact. Please know that my prayers are with you. There is no friendship greater than friends from our youth. It is a special bond that is long-remembered and cherished. Such is the friendship of your family and mine.
