Sorry to hear of the passing of my friend Windy. I met Windy shortly after the Shawnee Golf & Country Club opened and played many rounds of golf with him. We would meet around 8am every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a round of golf and if the weather was bad we would sit in the clubhouse and drink coffee and just visit. He would talk about his days in the Navy, his travels while working for TWA and of course about his wife (Ginny, what a sweetheart she was), his kids and all the grands. He thought the world of his family and liked to share things about them. Windy was a special man, it was indeed an honor for me to have known him and to be able to call him my friend. My condolences to the family and my thanks to them for sharing their father with me. I will always have memories of him every time I tee up a golf ball. I know he will be driving and ringing the bell on a fire engine in Heaven!!!

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends, and the promises of Almighty God that there is a hope of seeing your loved one again. My sincere condolences
