My dear, brother, Wendell. I am so sad that you are gone; however, considering all the pain and suffering you went through for so many years with your health, I am glad that you are no longer in pain. And, since you are in Heaven, You get to see Jesus before the rest of us, and of course Mom, Dad and others who have gone on before us. What a reunion we will have we we all get to Heaven.
Just like the words to a chorus I remember being sung at church at the end of services sometimes. We'll never say good-bye in Glory. So although I have to say good-bye now, here on earth, we'll never say good-bye up there.
Good night, Wendell. I'll see you in the morning.

Love, your little sister,

Gwen (White) Bartholomee

Dawn, Wendell Jr., Phillip, and families,
How very sorry I was to hear of Wendell's passing. Wendell and I went to grade school and part of high school together. I will never forget his smile, sense of humor, and love for family, friends, and the Marines. He was a fine example of a Christian person. God bless all of you. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Your family is in our prayers,
Mark & Debbie Higgs-Honeycutt

I Samuel 20:18b: and thou shalt be missed, because thy seat will be empty. I'll never see you at any more reunions down here, but praise be to God we'll have an everlasting reunion when God calls us home to be with him. Save me a spot beside you in the heavenly choir where we can go on doing forever what we used to do together best down here -- SING! I'll see you soon, my Friend and my Brother.
