I am Susan Abbott , WENDY is my dear Sister.
I am touched by your messages, we are beyond sad !
And the Lord does have her in the palm of His hand!!

I was very affected by Wendy's passing. We really big it off every time we were together at an AUP event. I loved her aqua sequin dress. We sat next to each other at the Christmas gala and talked non stop the whole dinner with plans for other meetings between us. To her family, I am so so sorry. I truly am sad. Blessings in every way. I am in Houston, and I knew Wendy from Lakewood church. She was a wonderful friend. Lots of fun, very intelligent, and I cherished her friendship. Wendy was such a warm, fun, giving person. My heart is heavy for such a great loss for your family and the community. However, what joy Wendy must be experiencing to be joined with her Lord and Savior. I also probably have some pictures, that I will look for and would like to send. What a blessing to have known Wendy and I cannot say enough about her character and the gift she was to my life and to all of us that knew her.

I recently met Wendy at an AUP event. She was a lovely person, so intelligent and full of life. This is indeed a great loss.

June 25 2018 So sorry for your loss... I knew Wendy in Houston (1980s)... Loved her much, will miss her much (we had some fun times, along with our good friend Jeanie Basciano)... I remember Wendy always a loving and caring person. She once rescued me from a girls room brawl and took me to the gym teacher. I am so sadden by her loss but know her faith has brought her to the end of her race. She is now with her Lord and Savior. I pray for her family to find the peace and know they will one day be reunited.

What an amazing woman! May she rest in peace.

So very sorry for your loss of Wendy. Such a sweet women and always smiling.I worked with her at different church functions and she was a great helper no matter what we were doing.May all the memories of Wendy get everyone thru this difficult time. RIP Wendy.
