On April 16, 2017, Wendy Patrice Friedman, devoted daughter of Marie G. Friedman (nee Doerer) and the late Thomas Vernon Friedman, loving sister of Scott D. Friedman and his wife Cathy, Robin L. Friedman and her husband Rodman Reilly and Timothy W. Friedman, dear aunt of Nicholas Ryan Friedman, Kendall Elizabeth Friedman, Caroline Brooks Friedman, Andrew Wyatt Friedman, Noah Aaron Christis, Amber Layli Christis, Jordan Michael Christis and Madeline XiCui Friedman. Wendy was a graduate of Roland Park Country School and Washington College. Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc. 6500 York Road (at Overbrook) on Friday 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at The Church of the Redeemer Chapel, Charles Street and Melrose Avenue, followed by a reception. Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Greater DC, Maryland Chapter, 2219 York Road #302, Lutherville, MD 21093. www.nationalmssociety.org

I am so sorry to learn of Wendy's passing. From RPCS days, I remember her as always having a sunny disposition and a ready smile. My sincerest condolences to the Friedman family.

I was saddened to hear of Wendy's passing. I have many fond memories of Wendy from our RPCS days. In my memories I always see her smiling or laughing. She was warm, caring, friendly and funny.

I have some wonderful memories of my friendship with my dear cousin Wendy. We grew up together and had so much fun, at Orioles games, meeting some of the players, at HersheyPark, in the halls of RPCS, or just hanging out at her house playing chess, listening to music, and enjoying the pastel nonpareils Aunt Marie would leave in a dish for us. She was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly, always with a smile and a sharp sense of humor. I am extremely lucky and grateful to have been able to spend time with her over the last several years, and especially to have been able to introduce her to my son, who fell for her right away.

I'm thinking of you, Mrs. Friedman, and your whole family and have you all in my prayers. Wendy was a bright light in our class and one of our greatest cheerleaders--whether it was for an Orioles game or for any number of reasons! We will all miss her.
