I am very sorry to read of Vern's passing. He was such a solid, down to earth person. I got to know him at Lincoln and continued to cross paths with him at East and Dakota Meadows. He was always a delight to see. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

I am going to miss you Uncle Vern. I am very saddened at losing you. It is going to be hard to not see you at Hy-Vee or family gatherings.

Bonnie and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I worked with Vern here at Dakota Meadows Middle School. He would stop in the office every day to say hello or tell me where the two of you had dined the night before. He was also very proud of the goodies you would bake and then he would bring to school!
He was a friend to all the kids at DMMS and they truly respected him.
I also knew Vern because of my dad at Lincoln Junior High. Vern made my dad a cribbage board and it was a prized possession of his for many years.
Again, my condolences go to you and your family. Vern will be missed.
Sincerely,
Donna (Nelson) Quick

You have my deepest sympathy regarding the passing of Vern. I bowled with Vern for numerous years at Victory Bowl in Mankato. He was always a pleasure to be around. Seems like yesterday when I remember watching him bowl.

Bonnie & family, Our thoughts and prayers of comfort go out to your family at this difficult time. Seems like yesterday I worked with you Bonnie at ISJ. The Lange family will cherish the memories getting to know the Kueker family through our South Branch connections. God's Blessings.

Bonnie, Linda, and Jody,
I have many fond memories of Vern at Clarke's Campgrounds. Every morning I would hurry and get up so I could "help" Vern with his word-finds and open the window slides to the porch with him. He always had a kind word, smile on his face and a laugh that was warming. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. He will truely be missed.
