Feeling very sad over Wes's passing. Was trying for years to get in touch. Thought of him as a really good friend and co-worker. We had some good laughs, just wish I could've had more. I know years have passed but still thinking of my buddy.

So sad to hear this. I recently got back into music and wondered what Wes was up to. Met him in Windsor, Ont. while he was a staff writer for Motown in the late 60s early 70s. We used to play chess until the wee hours of the morning while listening to jazz and hearing stories about Bobby Taylor and the Vancouvers and who really discovered the Jackson 5. Remember his beautiful wife and two darling boys who I hope are doing well. Am very, very sad to hear about his passing.
