Hello Anderson Family and I am sorry to connect again on such solemn news. I heard this weekend from Marian (Fusano) Sheldon of Wes's passing and that also of Wes's grandmother, Sue Zepazauer earlier this year. The loss of so young a man, and just coming into is own is hard to understand - especially for one of little faith such as I. My thoughts are with you all in this difficult time and I hope with the help of your beliefs you will eventually be able to thank God for all of the blessings bestowed on you and feel some solace knowing Wes is "at home". Tori, I hope you will extend my personal sypathies to my good school friends and classmates Annette and Richard. Annette, I'm adding a special prayer for your Mom. I know you and your family gave her much pleasure and pride.

Getting to know the Anderson children, I came to recognize Wes relatively quickly.

He was always described by his Aunt Jill as the "big tough football player who also likes fancy cheeses, bakes pies, and can knit like no ones business."

Wes seemed to thrive on this seeming irony; it was another demonstration of his fearlessness.

His creativity and unabashed love for so many interesting thing in life is one of many reasons why he'll be so sorely missed.

Thanks for the memories Wes and for the example you have been to my family over the years. If I get to be with you again I'll know I have made it to the right place! Your honesty, integrity, values, service to others and love of your fellow man showed your devotion to the Savior and what he taught. No wonder so many people were attracted to you. Thankyou for leaving such beautiful footprints on this earth for all of us to follow. You tackled all of life's challenges and problems and a few unfortunate quarterbacks. You have earned a little rest but we all know better!
Our temporary loss is of course heavens gain. God be with you and us until we meet again.

Dear Richard & Annette-
I received an email this morning from my cousin, RoseAnn, telling me of your sons passing. I am so, so sorry for your loss. He was much too young. Having lost a child of my own, and it also being during the holiday season, I can truely say that I know how you are feeling. May God be with all of you, and may he comfort you now and always.
Annette, I am not sure if you still live in Acton or not. Please contact me.

I love you so much. You are such an amazing person. I'm so sorry about Wes. But just know he's going to be watching over you. You both were just the perfect couple. If you need anything, and I mean ANYTHING please let Ryan and I know. Wes meant a lot to us and so do you. I enjoyed visiting Utah and seeing your home that you built with Wes! And thank you so much for allowing us to stay there. I love you and you'll always be in my prayers Paige.

Dear Wesley,
I will always remember the time I met you for the first time. Meeting Ryan online and meeting him at Denny's with you for the first time. Ryan and I couldn't even talk because everyone would look, so you decided to ride with my friends so Ryan and I can have time alone. You were there in the beginning of our relationship, and you were there for us during our hard times. Wes, you truely are a perfect man. I'm honored to have known you. You have touched so many people in your life. We'll miss you so very much.. and we know we'll see you again someday. Till then you'll forever be in our hearts and our thoughts. Ryan and I love you big Dub and miss you dearly.

Paige & Anderson family,
I knew Wes when we were both younger and I know Wes lived his life to the fullest in everything he did. "The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time." I'm truly and deeply sorry for your loss and he will be missed by many.

Dear Anderson family and Paige,

The Anderson family..my favorite family for many, many years. The family that I wished had been my own. The family that I looked up to, admired and thanked God for them as friends and as a model of decency, honesty, compassion, and kindness. You were very fortunate, Paige, to be loved and cherished by a member of this family, even though that precious time was much too short.
Please know my friends and former neighbors, that you are in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers and we send our love.
The response to this loving obituary written by my precious friend Tori has overwhelmed us.
Thank you, Richard, for taking time out of your grief to call our attention to it.
I believe that everyone who knows the Anderson family knows where Wes inherited the qualities expressed in his lengthy, heartfelt tribute.

Dear Anderson Family:
I am unable to express the deep sorrow and sadness I feel...my family is so closely connected to your family in so many ways...I feel like I have lost my own son. Wes and my son, Chris, were close friends for many years, having played baseball together and sharing dance classes. I have always loved how he just lit up the room with his smile and easygoing attitude! What a wonderful young man you raised (among many) and my family will be blessed all the days of our lives just having called him friend.

Dear Anderson Family and Paige,
We are deeply sorry for your loss of Wes. As Wes's aunt and uncle (and I also speak for my children, Wes's cousins) he will be greatly missed. We have watched him become a wonderful young man and a great example for my children to follow. He sent a very sweet thank you card to us after his and Paige's wedding. He mentioned how happy and excited he was about his new life with Paige. My fondest memories will be of the kids' puppet shows and wrestling matches at your house. May you find comfort in God's love and plan of happiness for us all.

We JUST found out today from a friend in Agua Dulce about Wes. We're in shock! We were neighbors of the Anderson family in Acton and our son, Ryan, and Wes hung out together in their younger years. Wesley and the entire Anderson family are good people and I can't imagine the pain they and his wife are going through right now. Even though our families have not been in close contact for several years, we feel such a sense of loss as Wesley and his family always meant a lot to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Love,

Dear Family,
I became acquainted with Wes during this semester when he enrolled in my health science class. Though I have spent a very brief time around him, I found him to be a gracious and happy person. He had a ready smile and was one of the most congenial students I have had. It was a very emotionally experience for me to announce to the class about his passing. I offer my sympathy over your loss.

Heather, Jen, and Becky,
We're sorry to hear about the sad news. I'm sure you were all shocked by his sudden passing. You should be able to help Paige get through this stressful time she is facing right now. After all, you recently went through the same thing so you know how she must be feeling. Stay strong, she is going to need her families love more than anything right now.

Again, we are really sorry for your loss.

I just read about Wes's passing and although I never met any of you my heart and prayers go out to all of you, especially you Paige who just recently married in the temple and were at the beginning of looking forward to your whole life ahead.

I know that we cannot always understand the why's of such an untimely death and so I pray that through this great loss that the void and emptiness will be filled by a loving Heavenly Father.

I extend my sorrow and love from a new family member that you can call your brother and who will keep you in my prayers.

Paige,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I was stunned to hear of this. I want you to know how much I respected and admired Wes. When I trained him at Mimi's so long ago, I recognized a hard-working, morally-sound man. I only knew you two through our working relationship, but I want you to know that I always thought very highly of both of you. In that work environment, I was glad to see you two stand as good examples for everyone there. I'm grateful for the sealing power. I do not doubt that you two are a forever family.

Paige, I'm so sorry for your loss, I didn't really get to know Wes all that well but from just the short time I met him on this last Lake Powell trip, I knew he cared and loved you!

And he cared about everyone, he and Dan even taught me how to wake board within about an hour! And then we went cliff jumping, and him helping me up with that rope, so that I could jump off that little cliff, he was always thinking of others.

And you cant forget about the tubbing wars, where he would always kick my trash...It was awesome and he was awesome with all of his crazy little twists on games and how he could make everyone smile. =)

He was a great man and my prayers will go out to you and your families behalf
