My Uncle Wes was the most accepting and loving person anyone could have as a friend. He was not only my Uncle but also my friend. I miss him terribly! In honor of Wes please carry out random acts of kindness everyday! He will smile in heaven everytime you reach out to others.

As Wesley’s neighbor for more than nine years, I grew up around him all of my childhood and most of my adolescence. I will always consider him a second father and my best friend. Never having my own dad around, he was the only male figure in my younger life. I can remember riding my bicycle to his house every day after school curious as to what project he was getting in to at that time, where he would happily have me join him, joking around and teaching me all the while. He never once hesitated to ask if I would accompany him on any random fishing trip, four wheeler ride through the woods, casual baseball watching, enjoying a bon fire, sighting in our rifles, and on many occasions to enjoy some of Odell’s finest dinners with some of his freshly caught Catfish. He even had me join him on one of his annual fishing tournament trips at Lake Samraburn, where we camped for a couple days and I caught my very first bass, which was big enough to get mounted. Every year he and his wife would buy my sister and I Christmas presents, adding more joy to the experience for us due to the minimal circumstances we were confounded to having only a single parent doing all she could. Wesley was a Christian man who I rarely, if at all, saw him miss a chance to attend church or participate in programs to raise funds for any part of the congregation. He was my life mentor and a large aspect to the person I have become today. I have yet to meet another person who can amount to half of his kind hearted, happy go lucky, country personality. Wesley Alan Reynolds will be missed by my family and all whom have ever run across his path. The world is unfortunately a little darker now without his presence. I will love you forever my best‘is friend, and can’t wait to fish with you in the clouds above one day, oh, no worries, I’ll bring the Ding Dongs.

Odell-I thank my Lord for all the laughter and joy Wesley brought to my life when I was so blessed to marry into the "Reynolds" family. Though we did not see each other as often as we would have liked, we all knew how much we loved one another. To know that he truely had a real compassion for helping others and did not complain when his body ached but continued to take care of you,his beloved Odell and your homested. I knew him to not like the limelight on himself, but our Lord saw...
We will all miss you, Wes, and I just know Mama & Daddy Reynolds were there welcoming you to our Heavenly Home. I too will join you one day, my brother, and rejoice together because of our Hope, our trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Be Still
Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.
Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.
If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
