Weston was such a fun kid, full of life and smiles everyday! I knew him for a short time but through that time I had the pleasure of calling him a friend. He will be missed, bless the Marquette family as there is a new angel soaring through heaven.

Ours was the privelege to attend this 'awesome' memorial service of a very much loved young man. Weston was needed by God, so that some other awesome things can happen, in the lives of other young people. Have never witnessed such love in friendship of this fine young man. Love and prayers continue for his parents and Taylor, his brother, another awesome young man. Very sincerely Clem & Lilian Kutz

There are no words to convey the sadness our family feels; no words of any kind that will make this right. Losing a child is a nightmare no parent ever wants to experience. Unfortunately, it happens all too often. Our hearts and our prayers are with you. We always knew Weston was a special guy, but he must have been much more than we ever imagined if God wanted him to come Home so soon. May the love of friends and family bring you comfort. May the love of God bring you peace.

Even though I did not know Weston personally, I see what a difference he made in his short lifetime here on earth. Weston Keith Marquette, you fulfilled your purpose here on earth in a very short time, and the Lord called you home. The difference you made will never be forgotten. I believe with all my heart that the difference you made will be seen for many years to come. God bless you and your family!

To the family;

I received the emails that Brian sent out from a former coworker. I had a friend pass away at the age of 35 from Lymphoma and it forever changed my outlook on life. The pictures and comments I see on here, I realize he meant the same to those who knew him. My prayers are with you.

Weston, though I didn't know you or your family, you have inspired me to live each day and pappreciate it more.

God bless

You have raised two beautiful boys. You are two beautiful people. The Love you have for one another and for your family and your friends are amazing. Two people whom made two perfect human beings. I am so grateful to know all of you. He will always be around all of us. I'm so happy I got to hug him, when he came into the restaurant with both of you. Time does mend the heart, but it does take time. You all are in our hearts and we only wish you all peace.

Sweet Weston, there are not enough tears to ease the pain we feel with losing you. Just your mere presence lifted us; your sweet smile, your tenderness, the love you gave to all of us. Although in time, we will grieve less, our life will never be the same without you. In every moment we share as a family, we will forever love you and keep you close in our hearts - now and until we see you again. Our hearts are broken as we try to understand - why you - why you our Sweet Weston? I love you my sweetheart baby and will miss you so much.

I used to work with Weston and he was one of those people where the second you meet them, you know they are special. He was the sweetest guy and always had a smile on his face. I remember he would get in trouble for wearing the wrong color socks, and when I asked him what color socks he was wearing, he'd pull up his pants leg and they'd be pink or some other girly color and he'd say "they're my mom's." He made me laugh daily. My heart aches for his family and friends. We'll miss you, Weston.

Weston was one of the nicest and most polite young men that you could ever hope to meet.He was always happy and smiling whenever he came over to our house.He and my son Kyle would hang out in our garage working on their cars or trucks. I'll never forget the first time that he came over and I met him, he was eating a Wendy's burger and I kidded with him and asked him where mine was. From that moment on it was an on-going joke between us. I will miss him also.My thoughts and prayers are with Weston's family.

I am so glad I got to know Weston and play along side him in band at Southeast. The other people in our section inclusing myself, brought him into our "bonehead" fraternity (because we both played Trombone) and he was always fun to hang out with and talk to. We would constantly joke around and make each other laugh in class and I was surprised that we hardly got in trouble. Mysympathies are with you all.

Let your faith in the Lord be your strength is this very sad time. We will mourn selfishly for ourselves in our own quite time but know in our hearts God has a master plan. We may now know what it is and it may not make much sense, but there is a plan and it is made by our Father in Heaven. I would rather follow that plan than any other. We will continue to pray for you and your family.

Dear Brian & Debbie, There are no words to describe the loss of a child. I too lost my 22 year old son on 8/3/2007. It is said that "God never gives you more than you can handle" and I found that to be true as he carries you through this devastating event. I will tell you that in time you will be better and the pain will definitely lessen. I feel that they are in a wonderful place and the last thing they want is for us to be sad. They are happy. It sounds like he is a great guy and that you have a lot of family for support. Take care and if you ever need to talk to someone who has travelled this road feel free to call me.

To Brian and Debbie and all who loved your son, let me say that while I never knew him (or you two either), I am a child of the Living God, so that makes us all family. It is such an awesome thing to KNOW with a certainty that we will all be together throughout all eternity. And, in eternity, NOTHING will ever hold Weston back! Also, it says in God's word, "Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so." Surely you have done that. Warmly, Caroline McKeon (sister of Judy Gordon who is with Iberia Bank)
