Mrs. Vye and Christian,
Sorry to see that your husband and father has passed. I so enjoyed spending time playing at your home in Durham until we moved to Middletown in 1969.

Mr. Vye carved me a pin that was my name. I treasured it and often wore it. I saw it a couple of years ago and was reminded me of you and our Pisgah Mountain days.

I wish you peace and strength as you go through this difficult time.
