It is hard to believe its almost a years since you left us. We knew you had made plans to be present at the Final Grafton Tournament on the 3rd weekend of Jul, but it wasn't to be. Please know you were missed and that your name formed a portion of the Closing Remarks. Carrying on our old traditions in the Grafton Arena, Lynn, Carol & I as well as Ewart proposed a toast to your memory. I certainly miss our long telephone conversations and sharing a cool Canadian as well as receiving the annual Christmas Card from "Canada".
Your old Grafton Buddy,
Jack Kernaghan

Rest in peace Wilbert. Always enjoyed our talks at the ball parks around North America. What a surprise the first time I met you when I found out that you were related to my Aunt ! Will miss our talks and your sense of humour. All my best to "Homer"

Wilberts' intellect, wit and wisdom had, or will have, few equal's in the oilpatch. It was an honour too know and work for him. That was a mighty tough kelly that you drilled so rest in peace Wilbert.
