Wilbur Burger

Wilbur "Will" Burger, Jr., passed away at the age of 70 on July 26, 2021. He was born on April 30, 1951, to the late Wilbur Burger, Sr., and Althea Wilder Burger in New Orleans. He attended Fortier High School and retired from a long career with the US Postal Service. He was a spirited man and a New Orleanian at heart who loved Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, listening to Dr. John and the Neville Brothers, and of course was a lifelong fan of the Saints. He enjoyed spending time near the water and being with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Wayne Burger. He is survived by his daughter, Tracey (Chris); his son, Sean; his sisters, Beverly (Ken) and Barbara (John); and his grandchildren, Gabe, Peyton, Baylor, and Caraline. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10am until the service at 11am.
