Wilbur (Will) James Drew

Won't ever forget Will and Pat curiously watching me for the 1st time from their Ferndale front porch while I was discing up their field for green bean plantings. They stopped me as I came close, drinks perched upon their outdoor furniture, as I later learned 5pm was a treasured time for catching up on the day's happenings, and then after a few minutes of our meeting, asked if I would like to live in their cottage on the farm. As so our friendship began. Loved their insight on life, the world, politics, and best of all the love of family. I am privileged to have known them. Lots of love to the family.

Thanks for the obituary, I enjoyed knowing Will for a short time and miss him.

Ah! Uncle Will. What can I say, except that he was a fellow sailor, wrestler and coach that I always looked up to and admired. We'll both miss the many family gatherings and in depth conversations we had on multiple subjects right up to the end. An important light has gone out in our world. Great guy, great Uncle.
