Every summer we kids would wait for that buzz over the house in Oakdale. It would tickle us because we knew the Amis family was in town. We are so sorry for your loss and will have you in our prayers.

For many years the Amis family, with big Dave as the conspicuous patriarch, was a major part of Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City. I have always admired and respected Dave, his wife, his children and grandchildren. God bless this family and embrace them during this crucial time.

Suzy, Charlie, Rebecca,
Bob, Henry and Emily join me in extending our sympathy to you and your large family. In the passing of the patriarch, the torch is passed to you and your generation! You are travelling in the footsteps of your father's greatness! You are well prepared and fine examples of his and your mother's best. May your hearts heal from the pain of his passing and your love for one another grow.
With love,
Dawn Walker

I saddened to hear of the passing of Dave Amis. I remember Dave's love of flying. I saw him land on that grassy private runway ever so precisely under far less that optimal conditions. He was an excellent pilot My family worked for many years in various aspects of the farming and construction business. Our relationship goes all the way back to "Pappy Amis". Please accept the sincere sympathy of our family.
