Obituary

Wilhelmina Underwood was born on December 18, 1941, to the proud parents of Macie Lee and Adell Rice, in Kensett, AR. She was the eldest of the fie children born to the Rice Family.

Wilhelmina graduated from White County High School in 1960. She met Dave Underwood while attending that school in 1957. After they graduated high school, they married on October 2, 1960, in Searcy, AR. From this union three children, Agela Elaine Underwood-Jacobs, Dave Patrick Underwood, and Gregory Eugene Underwood were born.

They moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1965, and then moved to California in 1967, where she primarily spent the rest of her life in the city of Pinole.

Wilhelmina worked for Kmart Corporation for 30 years, from where she retired as a Retail Supervisor in 2002. She enjoyed playing Bid Whist with family, Bingo, and laughing on the phone with her sisters. Her truest passion was spending time with her grandchildren.

Wilhelmina departed this life on July 28th, 2014 and was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Underwood and sister Laura Steele.

She had a heart of gold and was a sincere friend to those that loved her and strangers alike.
