Will T. "Moto" Fuqua, better known as "Moto" was born July 18, 1950 in Macon County, Tennessee to the late Fountain Frank Fuqua and Edna Elizabeth Hoskins Fuqua. He was one of eight siblings born unto this union.
Besides Moto's parents; his brother, Freddie Fuqua, sister, Sue Adcock and great-granddaughter, Kenzley East, also preceded him in death.
He was previously married and has three children, Donna Meador and husband Chuck, Loretta McGuffey and husband Neal, and Tony Fuqua. Also surviving are grandchildren, Amber Sullivan and husband Timmy Jr., Ashley Gregory, Caneal East and husband Devon, and Jessie McGuffey, great-grandchildren, Whitley Sullivan, Faith East, Walker East and Grayson East, sisters, Jo Fuqua, Rosie Day and husband Junior, Margaret Wix and husband Donald and Helen Hesson, brother, F.D. Fuqua and wife Nancy, sister-in-law, Pam Fuqua, and brother-in-law, Aaron Adcock.
Moto loved doing carpentry and working in construction, he also enjoyed farming. He enjoyed working with his hands, he made things out of Popsicle sticks and whittled. After retiring, he put together a beautiful church from Popsicle sticks that he was very proud of.
He was a member of Miller's Chapel General Baptist Church.
Moto was a loving father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
On Wednesday January 7, 2015, at the age of 64, the Lord called Moto to his heavenly home. His family and friends will greatly miss him, but our loss is Heaven's gain.
Funeral Services for Will T. "Moto" Fuqua were conducted Saturday, January 10, at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Landy Presley and Reverend David Simmons officiating. Interment followed in the Shrum Cemetery.
