Modesto, California - Willa Mae McClellan was born to Maude Emma Hampton and William Henry Muncy in a log cabin in Eagle Corner, Arkansas on September 7, 1934. She married her husband Mac in 1952, and was born in the spirit in 1957. Her family and her church were the most important parts of her life.
She served her church faithfully for over 60 years, including as chairman of the board for the church's school, for which she wrote the charter. She led bible studies and served as Sunday School secretary. She read the Bible every day, and read it cover to cover many times.
Willa had one older sister, Leona, and four brothers (Leo, Albert (who died at 2 years old), Stanley, and Howard). Her brothers looked after and protected her all her life. In later days, they all met for dinner all the time. She entertained her family for Christmas Eve every year. She was still able to do so in 2021 at the age of 87, decorating her house and making her famous tortilla dip and chips.
She is survived by her son Rod (Kim), granddaughter Melissa (Ben), grandson Eric, and great grandson Cole. Her husband Mac and daughter Terry preceded her in her death. We eagerly await the day when we will be reunited with her in the presence of Jesus.
