I knew Jack for many years he was always a gentleman and a friend, my late husband played volleyball with Jack. I may not have seen Jack often but I considered Jack a dear friend. Knowing that I won't be able to see him anymore has left a void in my world. I'm sure he's looking down with a smile, because that's what I remember, he always had a smile.

Jack was always a gentleman and a good friend. We could always count on a smile from him and he always made us smile. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. I enjoyed him talking about the Parke family history of his Uncle who grew strawberries and discovered that if you sprinkled water on the strawberry plants, the frost would not kill them. Having grown up in a strawberry picking family, I enjoyed knowing that. Peggy my heart goes out to you and I know full well what you are going through, being a widow as well. Let me know if I can be of service to you Peggy. I love you Caroline Ritter
