There are people in this world who know who they are, and what they are about, and what they alone can give. And just like them, the gifts they share are a true blessing. Bill was someone who did not compromise on being the person only he could be, someone who did not hold back on sharing the gifts only he could give. Whether it was his work with the parish, the Knights of Columbus, Trinity High School, or the many other charitable organizations he was involved with, his approach was the same - start by doing what is necessary then what is possible and suddenly you are doing the impossible. Not a day goes by I don't think of my wonderful brother-in - law Bill.... today is one of them when he is on my mind.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill on a project at the Manchester Airport several years ago. He was always easy going and quick to laugh. I considered him a friend. My condolences to your family.

I only had the privelege of knowing Bill for a short time via a work related project. We all found him to be a man of exemplary kindness, faith, and courage. I have considered him to be a wonderful and caring friend, and was blessed to have known him. My sincerest condolences to your entire family.

Bill leaves behind a wonderful family. His greatest gift to the world. His selflessness and love were an example for everyone who knew him.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself … any man’s death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
