My Deepest Sympathy Condolences OF The William Zander´s Family, Friends & NASA

We have lost a lot of people this year Actresses, Actors, Singers, yet we have lost another person William Anders Apollo 8 Astronaut who in 1968 flew on the first manned orbit of the moon , i was only 4 years old. May his soul still live, has his body Departed back to HEAVEN, In verdant pasture he gives me repose;
beside restful waters he leads me; he refreshes my soul. Only goodness and kindness follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.
MAY THEIR SOULS
AND THE SOULS OF ALL THE
FAITHFUL DEPARTED
THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD
REST IN PEACE
ANEN.

ETERNAL REST
GRANT UNTO THEM, O LORD.
AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT
SHINE UPON THEM.

He would be missed and yet never be forgotten. We all know that he is in a good place now and has reunited With the other astronauts.

My thoughts, prayers are with you and with your family yes

Our condolences to Valerie and all privileged to share some of this amazing person´s life. We knew him long after the times that made him a famed leader in the military, space and business. All that is reason enough for admiration, but we were especially inspired by his generosity toward environmental education and other outdoor experiences. - Robbie and Jim Mantooth

My heartfelt sympathy and condolences go out to Valarie and the Anders family. America has lost a true American hero. Bill will always be remembered for the Earthrise photo taken during the memorable Apollo 8 flight to the moon in 1968. In
My job at NASA, I was so fortunate to travel with them and those travels enabled me to develop a lasting friendship and relationship. Bill will be missed but will never be forgotten along with his fellow astronauts who are no longer with us. God bless Bill, Valarie and the Anders family

Bill and I became dear friends at LaGrange High School and remained friends for 75 years even though we saw each other infrequently. At his invitation, I attended the Apollo 8 launch. We last talked by phone about a year ago. Please give my condolences to Valerie. We will all miss him. Dick Williams

I was setting the table for our family's Christmas Eve dinner, with an eye and an ear on the television, watching Apollo 8's broadcast. Those Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo astronauts had always been my heroes, and then...the reading from Genesis, begun by Bill Anders. Simply wonderful--I and my family began to tear up, and at the ripe old age of ten, I felt like I was watching and hearing history in the making. Stunning, awe-inspiring...words fail. Anyway, my deepest condolences to his family.
